Technology Project Manager
Are you passionate about the environment? Does applying innovative solutions for knowledge-building in order to improve our world sound like a challenge that puts your skills to good use? We have a great opportunity for a Technology Project Manager to join Island Press to manage and oversee a new grant-funded technology project and to research and recommend new products and technology services that advance and promote critical environmental knowledge for those working to solve environmental issues. We generally hire interns for the fall, spring, and summer terms. We look for interns who are interested in learning about the book publishing field or have a specific interest in a particular publishing discipline. Candidates will be matched with the internship that best fits his/her interests and experience; however, you may note your preference. Recruiting will continue until all available positions are filled. Internships are unpaid, volunteer positions and we request 10-20 hours per week of availability.
