Chris Duerksen

Chris Duerksen is managing director of Clarion Associates, a Denver-based planning and design consulting firm. He is the founder, president and chairman of the Rocky Mountain Land Use Institute and former chair of the American Bar Association's Land Use, Planning and Zoning Committee. He is the author of the PAS report, Habitat Protection Planning, and the Planner's Press book, True West (2003). Other members of the Clarion team are involved in the research and writing of the book, but Duerksen is the primary researcher and author on the project.
