Peter Groenewegen is a chemist and holds a doctorate in science studies from the University of Amsterdam. He has done research on company strategy and technology development, as well as on research and development cooperation between corporations and universities. He is a professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Free University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
