Bonar is Associate Professor of Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences with USGS and Unit Leader, Arizona Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit.  Bonar focuses on fisheries management, native-nonnative aquatic species interactions and management, desert fish conservation and management, standardized fish sampling, communication in conservation, general fisheries management, management and ecology of introduced species, predator-prey interactions in aquatic systems, and politics and communication in natural resources.
