As a land conservationist, Story Clark has consulted for numerous organizations, including the Doris Duke Charitable Trust, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, as well as other land trusts. She has held the positions of Senior Director at the Jackson Hole Land Trust and Executive Director at the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance. She has also been an Assistant County Planner for Teton County, Wyo., and a Lobbyist for the Alaska Coalition.
Clark serves on numerous academic and business boards, such as Conservation International, American Conservation Association, Tuckernuck Land Trust, King Hussein Foundation, Public Education Coalition of Teton County, and Avery Island Inc. She has served on the Advisory Boards of the Wyoming Stock Growers Association Land Trust, the Board of Visitors of the Nicholas School of the Environment and Earth Sciences at Duke University, and the Haub School and the Ruckelshaus Institute of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming. She is also a frequent speaker and instructor at land conservation conferences and has raised millions of dollars for conservation efforts. She holds a B.A. from Hampshire College and lives on a ranch in Wilson, Wyo. with her husband and two daughters.
