We hire interns for the fall, spring, and summer terms. We look for interns who are interested in learning about the book publishing field, the environment, or non-profit organizations. We especially want to encourage you to apply if your background is under represented in publishing or environmental policy or you hadn't considered any of these career paths before. Internships are unpaid, volunteer positions and we request 10-20 hours per week. Please note your availability when applying. The Island Press staff and its Board of Directors are looking to recruit one Student Director over the next year who would serve a two-year term. We welcome applications from degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate students in good academic and disciplinary standing.
