Kathy Dervin is a Senior Climate and Health Specialist at the Center for Climate Change and Health at the Public Health Institute. From 2009–2014 she was the lead for climate and health policy and planning at the California Department of Public Health, leading a wide range of climate mitigation and adaptation projects
